Whatcom Hospice grief support comes to Blaine

Whatcom Hospice is continuing its mission to serve grieving north Whatcom County residents with its third annual bereavement series in Blaine that starts in the new year.

The six-week series, “A Journey Toward Hope and Healing,” runs 1-2:30 p.m. every Thursday from January 8 through February 12 at Blaine United Church of Christ, 885 4th Street. The free series will provide education and support for adults experiencing the loss of a loved one.

In addition to the Blaine group, Whatcom Hospice will offer the same six-week support series in Bellingham, 2-3 p.m. every Tuesday from February 24 through March 31.

Whatcom Hospice also offers single-session groups in Bellingham for support and education on what may be expected during the first year of loss. Upcoming sessions will be held Wednesdays, 2-3:30 p.m. January 14; 5-6 p.m. January 21; and 2-3:30 p.m. February 11.
