A group of volunteers known as BIG (Blaine Improvement Group) worked for several hours on June 4 to clean up the town before July 4 festivities. The volunteers, led by Mike Hill, painted the railings along Peace Portal Drive, replaced brick pavers and cut back overgrown vegetation.
