The Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2 hosted Blaine’s annual Spring Block Party on Saturday at the corner of Peace Portal Drive and H Street. The daylong festival took on a new theme this year: Celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
The festival showcased cultural performances, including for hula and ukulele that brought performers from across the border.
Parks and recreation also returned festival staples, including a vendors fair, youth lawn games and Border Town Pizza beer garden.
