Former Blaine police chief Donnell Tanksley, c., was ceremonially sworn in as Whatcom County Sheriff on January 8. Thurston County Superior Court Judge Sharonda Amamilo, l., administered the oath of office, and Tanksley’s wife, Jessie, pinned his badge.
