Blaine High School class of 1953 graduates attended a memorial service at Blaine Cemetery for Richard “Wayne” Oertel, the son of the owner of Oertel’s Market that was located at the foot of H Street. Wayne Oertel died in 2019 but his service was postponded to May 21 because of the pandemic.
