Robin Lee Younkins
April 19, 1957 – December 11, 2025
Robin Younkins, age 68, passed away unexpectedly December 11, while working in his shop. The oldest of four, Rob was born in Bellingham, WA and lived in Point Roberts as a child, before moving to Blaine where he graduated from Blaine High School in 1975. He was a lifelong motorcycle and car enthusiast and had many friends who shared those interests. He spent his entire career as a commercial fisherman, splitting time between the local waters and Alaska.
He is survived by his daughter Melissa (Kevin) Klemmt of Maple Valley; his grandson Zephyr Klemmt; his mother, Emiliann Hertzog of Blaine; his brother Tim (Dawn) Younkins; sisters Rhonda (Don) Ingham, all of Ferndale, Tammy (Cuong) Nguyen of Kent. He will also be missed by his nephew and niece and his trusted little companion, Turbo.
Rob was predeceased by his father, James Younkins.
Rob was a man of few words, a true example of “still waters run deep.” A kind man, with good friends and good neighbors, he will be deeply missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
