Brian DePoppe
July 12, 1953 – July 4, 2026
July 4, 2026 Brian DePoppe went home to Heaven. Brian was born July 12, 1953 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Elizabeth (Betty) Cook and Meryl DePoppe. He grew up a farm boy working alongside his grandfather and two brothers Wally DePoppe (Linda), Larry DePoppe (Julie) and their sister Martha DePoppe. He married Beverly Gunion (now Stallman) in 1974. In 1978 they moved to Lynden and raised two children Desirae Allen (Cody) and Zachariah DePoppe (Lydia). His children supplied him with many wonderful cherished grandchildren.
Brian had a masonry business for over 30 years. His artistry is known in his work, antique vehicles and his metal art sculptures. He developed many lifelong friends through tractor shows at Berthusen Park or Rolag, collecting or hauling tractors or parts, riding dirt bikes, hiking, camping DePoppe style. Fourteen years ago God blessed him and Debi Haug by bringing them together in a very special marriage full of love. One of the things they enjoyed was sharing God, music and their unique home where he had done so many creative things.
A memorial service will be held at the family home, 2955 H Street Road, Blaine, on September 26 at 2 p.m. Bring your own lawn chair and memories to share.
