In the Coming Up events in the May 21-27 issue of The Northern Light, you have only one listing for Memorial Day ceremonies and it is in Bellingham. Every year, Blaine has a ceremony at the gun by the old police station on H Street. Why did you not report this ceremony rather than the one in Bellingham? You need to do better investigating of upcoming events.
Also, check out the crossword puzzle. The numbering of the clues is seriously screwed up. This is not the first time this has happened. Perhaps you should get your crosswords from another source.

After the clinic, two nine-hole flights will be reserved so you can practice your new skills. The green fee for nine holes is $51 and cart rentals are $12 per seat.
Space is limited. To reserve your spot in the clinic and secure a nine-hole golf reservation, contact Karen Szol at kszol@comcast.net. Come ready to learn, have fun and kick off the season.

Trump and his family have enriched themselves during his presidency to unprecedented levels through cryptocurrency, foreign real estate deals, donations, gifts, lawsuits and stock trades. Forbes magazine estimates a $4.2 billion increase in Trump’s net worth since 2024.
This contrasts with the idea of the U.S. presidency as an opportunity to serve the country, not to take a profit.
Trump is seeking ways to glorify his name by creating a $250 bill, and he is celebrating his birthday Roman-style with gladiators of the UFC fighting it out on the White House lawn. By the way, Trump owns stock in the company that owns UFC.
Remember the Epstein files? We still haven’t found a way out of the Iran stalemate, a way to permanently reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and fuel and grocery prices keep rising.
Is all of the above just a distraction from the Epstein affair?
