The clock is ticking for Blaine residents to take part in the city’s first Great Blaine Elf Hunt, a holiday scavenger hunt activity for children and families that ends Friday, December 19.
The event, which kicked off during the Holiday Harbor Lights festival, is hosted by the Blaine Chamber of Commerce and Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2 (BBBPRD2).
To participate, passports can be picked up at the Blaine Visitor Information Center, 546 Peace Portal Drive, or Hill’s Chevron next door.
Participating businesses will hide elves, and when a child finds an elf, they will earn a stamp on their passport.
Completed passports must be turned in by December 19 at the visitor center or Hill’s Chevron to be entered into the prize drawing.
The main prize is a gift basket with holiday items for the entire family provided by the Blaine Chamber of Commerce. Once a winner has been selected, they will be notified by December 23.
For questions about the elf hunt, contact the Blaine Chamber of Commerce at 360/332-6484 or the BBBPRD2 at 360/656-6416.
