Blaine School District has opened enrollment for the next cohort of Borderites who are expected to turn their tassels to the left in 2039.
Kindergarten enrollment for the 2026-27 school year became available on the district’s website, blainesd.org, on Feb. 17.
To be eligible, children must be 5 years of age by Sept. 1. The registration requires:
• proof of the student’s name and age through a birth certificate or passport;
• either medically-verified immunization records or an exemption form;
• proof of address via a current lease or utility bill documents;
• and legal documents such as parenting plans or court orders.
New student enrollment documents can be found on the district’s website. Families who already have a child in the district can use Family Access to open the form.
The district will host “Getting Ready For Kindergarten” Family Night on April 30. More event information will be available at a later date, the district said.
In late August, families are invited to attend Blaine Primary School for kindergarten visits and family conferences. The first day of the 2026-27 school year will be August 31.
The district offers resources to families to help prepare their children for kindergarten through routines, reading and motor skills.
