Free webinar on citizenship expatriation

A local law firm and a tax-consulting firm are offering a free webinar on citizenship expatriation, the process of giving up citizenship to a country, on Thursday, March 10. 

Bellingham-based Cascadia Cross-Border Law and MNP LLC, which offers accounting and tax services in B.C., will host the clinic at 9 a.m. March 10 via Zoom. MNP partners Katri Ulmonen and David Cender as well as Cascadia attorney Heather Fathali will discuss the pros and cons of relinquishing U.S. nationality for tax and legal reasons.
