Blaine Public Library welcomes young builders to LEGO Club

LEGOPhoto by Stefanie Donahue.

The Blaine Public Library LEGO Club was in full swing August 22. Library staff member Cindy Lettel gave Brody Heit, 7, a first-hand look at a creation made at a past club meeting. While not all pieces are saved, some are housed in a storage closet in the library and later built on by future LEGO architects.  It was Heit’s first time at the club, but certainly not his first time building with LEGOs. The club is open to ages 4 to 11 and is free to participate. LEGO bricks are provided.

The next LEGO Club is scheduled from 1-4:30 p.m. at the Blaine Public Library on 610 3rd Street this Monday, August 29.
