Blaine Chamber of Commerce awards Living Pantry as business of the year
From l.; Living Pantry co-owners Seppi and Shawna Morris and Blaine Chamber of Commerce president Tim Woodard celebrate Living Pantry winning business of the year at the chamber of commerce’s annual general meeting at Great Blue Heron Grill on February 23. The Morrises opened Living Pantry at 684 Peace Portal Drive during the middle of the pandemic. After seeing success from Whatcom County’s first zero-waste store, they went on to open another location in Bellingham in fall 2021 and opened a third storefront in Fairhaven on February 9.
Blaine Chamber of Commerce named Living Pantry as business of the year during its annual general meeting on February 23. Living Pantry is a sustainable, zero-waste store that expanded from its flagship Blaine store to Bellingham and Fairhaven locations. The store sells items for the home and body such as refillable soaps and olive oils that have little to no packaging to reduce waste.
