A group of first responders from New York City, who were on duty when the 9/11 terrorist attacks occurred, visited the Blaine Police Department on September 10. The following day, they were honored guests at the 9/11 memorial service at Peace Arch State Park. The visiting first responders included FDNY paramedic Robert Abril and NYPD officers Marna Rann, Dennis O’Connell and Christine Reyes.
