Football

Blaine defense once again had a solid game, but it wasn’t enough in a 17–0 loss at Lynden on September 20. After the loss, Blaine’s record is 1–2. Lynden Christian, a 1A team, is undefeated.

Lynden-Christian’s Eli DenBleyker kicked a 25-yard field goal in the second quarter – the only points scored in the first half. The Lyncs scored a touchdown on their first possession of the second half, and another in the fourth quarter.

Blaine linebacker Gavino Rodriguez was involved in 16 tackles, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and had a sack. Dakota George and Zane Rector each had an interception.
