Softball
Blaine varsity girls softball lost to Mount Baker 14–2 on March 15 and to Granite Falls 10–3 on March 20. The team’s record is 0–3. They play at Squalicum in the conference opener at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22.
Soccer
Blaine boys varsity soccer lost 0–5 to Vashon Island on March 17 and beat Ferndale 2–1 in the first conference game on March 20 at home. Evan Potter and Miguel Magallon scored goals against Ferndale. The team has a 2–1–1 record. They play next at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22 at Sehome.
Tennis
Girls tennis lost 7–0 to Burlington-Edison on March 19, and to Ferndale 7–0 on March 20. Next they play at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26 at Sedro-Woolley.
