Girls basketball wins two at holiday tournament

After winning two games during a holiday tournament then losing two games to start 2019, Blaine girls varsity basketball has a 5–7 record overall and 1–4 record in conference games.

At the holiday tournament at Blaine High School on December 27 and 28, Blaine girls beat University Prep 39–17 and Shorewood High School 38–32. The Borderites lost to Meridian 50–32 on January 4 and to Ferndale 71–43 on January 8.

Next, Blaine plays Sehome (5–8) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, at home.
