Both the Borderites and Lady Borderites lost home games at the beginning of the week after strong defensive performances from the traveling teams.

On the back of a tough 12-2 loss on the road to Mount Vernon, Blaine fell to Anacortes 3-0 April 26 at Pipeline Fields. The Seahawks scored early and the Borderites struggled to find a rhythm.
