Elbows Down, Sunglasses On events

On April 5 at the Reef there was quite the turn out for the first Elbows Down, Sunglasses On event. This event's goal was to get people to visit the Point, open their cabins and support local businesses. Warren Groom, president of the Crystal Water Beach community association, said, "The people of Crystal Water Beach have a long-standing love of Point Roberts, regardless of politics. It’s our 'happy place' and we want to see it thrive." The next event will take place Saturday, May 3, after 4:30 p.m. at The Pier.
