I feel your sadness. When I sold my home, which I loved in Renton, I hoped another family would love it as we had. A big family room with built-ins, an open kitchen, large master bedroom with a walk-in closet. The remodeled garage was our hobby room. I felt it was a perfect family home and I was proud of the additions I had made to the home.

When it sold, it was torn down to make way for new construction that could accommodate a group home. This was a need for the community and my 1950 constructed home with several different remodeling projects didn't meet the requirements for people with disabilities or provide plumbing for more than 4.

I cannot drive by my old home and reminisce, but I know that several individuals are living as independently as they can.

I have photos, videos, and many memories from our life at 2425 that can not be taken from me.
