That is what this world has come to. You can trust no one. Dollars rule the world. Taking advantage and screwing people over is a lot of peoples job description. I assure you they never had plans to use the home. They even sell that home and property to someone else. Some how the profits will find their way into a pocket of whoever is in charge of overseeing the library. I bet you see condos and never any library built or the home remodeled into one. If they do the last sign of complete disregard or respect to you will be when they put your family name on this new modern building with a few pictures of the old home and a BS story how the property was acquired. But I would be really surprised if they don't sell to someone who builds condos on it and put some money in their pocket.
