BNSF seeks demolition of Blaine train depot

Officials with Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railway want to demolish the 100-year-old Blaine Train Depot because it "no longer provides a viable function."

County council moves Birch Bay rezone vote to public hearing

The public at large will get another chance to comment on the potential rezone of nearly 500 acres of land just south of Drayton Harbor at a future Whatcom County Council meeting.

Lincoln Road reopens after 4-month closure

The stretch of Lincoln Road closed over the summer for improvements reopened on Friday after the Lynden-based contractor completed the project ahead of schedule and within budget.
