Semiahmoo sells for $19.5 million, owners working to reopen quickly

Semiahmoo Resort along with its two golf courses, Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club and Loomis Trail Golf Club, was purchased June 21, for $19.5 million by the newly formed partnership, Resort Semiahmoo, LLC.

New Amtrak Cascades trains to roll between Seattle and Bellingham beginning Friday, May 31

To help travelers pass the collapsed Skagit River Bridge severing Interstate 5, the Washington state-sponsored Amtrak Cascades train service will roll out two extra train trips daily between Seattle and Bellingham.

Business: Sale imminent for Semiahmoo

Coastal Hotel Group, a Seattle-based hotel management company, has confirmed that the purchase of the Semiahmoo Resort is scheduled to close in early June, and that they will be managing it once all the paperwork is signed.
