Blaine tech student association prepares for cancer research fundraiser

Blaine High School’s Technology Student Association (TSA) today announced plans for its seventh annual American Cancer Society fundraiser the week of Jan. 3 – 6, 2012. Launched in 2005, the TSA project invites students, teachers and members of the community to participate in a week-long competition to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

Petition to up speed limit on Drayton Harbor Road section withdrawn

The Blaine resident who submitted a petition asking for a change in speed limit on a section of Drayton Harbor Road to Whatcom County Public Works has withdrawn the request.

City council to vote again on ordinance to acquire private property in east Blaine

Due to an address error, Blaine City Council will once again have to vote on an ordinance allowing the city to acquire two parcels of private property in east Blaine.
