The Whatcom County Auditor’s Office will distribute voter pamphlets for state and federal elections to all county senior centers and libraries in time for the primary election.

The county auditor’s office has printed out booklets containing information on Washington’s federal and statewide races for the August 7 primary and will make reference copies available at all county-run libraries and senior centers in Whatcom County, according to media release from the auditor’s office. Residents will be able to visit any of these sites and review the candidates’ information. This information is currently only available on Washington’s Secretary of State website.

The state only publishes an online voters guide for primary races, while individual county auditors mail out voter pamphlets with information only on local races, including superior court judges and state legislative district candidates. All races will be covered in the general election voter pamphlet mailed out before the November election.
