July 9 last day to register to vote in August 7 primary election

The Whatcom County Auditor is reminding county residents that the last day to register to vote in time for August 7 primary election is Monday, July 9.

The easiest way to register to vote is by visiting www.vote.wa.gov. Residents must have a valid Washington state driver’s license or Washington state I.D. card.

Voter registration forms are also available to pick up in person at all county libraries and the county auditor’s office in Bellingham. Completed forms must be postmarked no later than 4:30 p.m. on July 9 in order to vote in the August 7 primary.
