TNL-Photo-of-the-Week

This Steller’s jay, photographed at a Blaine feeder, is a close relative of the blue jay found east of the continental divide. Jays, along with ravens and magpies, are part of the crow family. Noisy and conspicuous when foraging (or ganging up on an owl or hawk), their nests are often very hard to find. Their favorite foods are seeds and nuts.
