Dennis Alan Dohner of Blaine, WA, passed away on November 15, 2017 at the age of 69. He was born on November 18, 1947, to Alvin and Virginia Dohner of Blaine. A commercial fisherman for over 50 years, Denny loved the sea and had a far deeper love for his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marie; daughters Rhonda (Ray) Young and Shanelle (Brody) Loy, sons Rodney (Aimee) Dohner and Matthew Dohner, and thirteen grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 3 at the Blaine Performing Arts Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation, the Blaine Fishermen’s Memorial Fund and Bellingham Royal Family Kids.
