The Blaine boys’ golf team finished fifth out of seven on April 12 at North Bellingham.  Sehome won the tournament with a total score of 450; Blaine shot a total of 501. Blaine golfer Ryan Wallen had the best score in the tournament, shooting a 72 and finishing six strokes ahead of second place. The boys’ next tournament is Thursday, April 19, against Squalicum.


The Blaine boys soccer team lost twice this week, falling 3-1 to Meridian on April 12 and 6-1 to Bellingham on April 16. The Borderites host Sedro-Woolley on Friday, April 20.


The Borderites tennis team won one and lost two this week. After losing at home to Burlington-Edison on April 12 (5-2), the team went on to win 6-1 over Lynden on April 13. The Borderites then lost at Ferndale 4-3 on April 16.  The girls next face Sehome at home on April 23.


After losing 15-5 at Anacortes on April 13, the Blaine softball team returned home to notch its first win of the year on April 16. The girls won 13-2 over Mount Vernon.  The Borderites face Meridian on Friday, April 20.
