Blaine’s top girls runner, Kiersten Sigfusson, did not run as she is recovering from a viral infection that required hospitalization. A date for her return is unknown as she seeks a third consecutive trip to state.Blaine’s best opportunity for victory was lost when the Borderites squandered a 2-0 lead and Nooksack Valley stormed back for a 3-2 NWC victory, Saturday, September 10 at Nooksack Middle School.
