Blaine pole vaulter takes talent east

For Robin Taylor, some things have changed, but some things stay the same.

The former Borderite track and field star and two-time 2A state champion pole-vaulter has taken her talents to Eastern Washington university.

The Eagles were visiting at a meet in Seattle with the University of Washington where Taylor to set a personal best vault of 11 feet, 11 3/4 inches.

The successful vault means that she will qualify for the Big Sky conference track and field meet later this month.
