On Monday, June 10, 120 Blaine seniors received their diplomas in Blaine High School's 107th annual commencement ceremony. Valedictorians Emily Grayston, Gordon Kordas and Kathryn Morley, as well as salutatorian Rosanna Contreras, gave speeches to family, friends, faculty and peers who packed the BHS gymnasium. Math teacher and girls tennis coach John Freal, who will retire after this year, received the 2013 Reginald Campin Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award voted on by the graduating senior class.
