May 2: While conducting patrol duties agents encountered a vehicle parked in a heavily wooded area known for illegal activity near the U.S./Canada border east of Sumas. Agents questioned the two occupants as to their reasoning for being parked in the remote area. During questioning it was determined that one of the subjects had an active warrant out of Marysville. The subject was turned over to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.

May 3: Operators of a remote video surveillance system (RVSS) witnessed three subjects illegally cross the U.S./Canada border near Lynden. Agents responded to the area and located the group walking southbound from the international border. It was determined that all three were citizens of India who were illegally present in the U.S. The group was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

May 7: A RVSS operator observed two subjects illegally cross the U.S./Canada border in Blaine. Agents responded to the area and located the pair attempting to conceal themselves in some bushes. It was determined that both suspects were citizens of India who were illegally present in the U.S. Both were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

May 8: Agents witnessed a group of four people illegally enter the U.S. from Canada in an area known for smuggling east of Blaine. All subjects were determined to be citizens of South Korea illegally present in the U.S. The group was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

May 8: Operators of a RVSS witnessed a subject illegally cross the U.S./Canada border and get into a waiting vehicle in Blaine. When the vehicle was stopped, the passenger ran from the car and attempted to conceal himself in some nearby bushes. Both subjects were taken into custody. The driver of the vehicle, who entered the U.S. as a visitor from Canada, violated his status. It was determined that the passenger was a citizen of Canada who was inadmissible for entry and illegally present in the U.S. The vehicle was processed for seizure and both subjects were processed for removal.

May 9: A concerned citizen reported a suspicious individual near the U.S./Canada border east of Lynden. Agents responded to the area and located the person attempting to hide in a nearby berry field. The subject, a citizen of India, was determined to be illegally present in the U.S. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

May 19: U.S. Border Patrol agents performed a vehicle stop near the U.S./Canada border. The driver of the vehicle, a citizen of Mexico, was determined to be illegally present in the U.S. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

May 28: Operators of a RVSS observed an individual in close proximity to the U.S./Canada border in Blaine. Agents responded to the area and located the subject, a citizen of Mexico, who was determined to be illegally present in the U.S. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

June 2: A RVSS operator observed subjects illegally crossing the U.S./Canada border near Blaine. Agents responded to the area and located the subjects, one determined to be a citizen of Honduras and one a citizen of Mexico illegally present in the U.S. Both subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

June 3: While patrolling the border, agents encountered four people in close proximity to the U.S./Canada border in a rural area north of Lynden. The subjects, citizens of India, were determined to be illegally present in the U.S. The subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.
