February 2: Operators of a remote video surveillance system observed an individual in a wooded area near the U.S./Canada border in Blaine. Agents responded to the area and located the person hiding under a bush. The subject, a citizen of Cuba, was determined to be illegally present in the United States. A records check indicated the subject had prior criminal narcotics convictions and had served a significant prison sentence. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.  

February 3: Agents encountered an individual in close proximity to the U.S./Canada border in Blaine. The subject, a citizen of Mexico illegally present in the United States, had prior criminal convictions including theft of a vehicle. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.

February 17: Agents performed a vehicle stop near the U.S./Canada border in Blaine. The passenger, a citizen of El Salvador, was determined to be illegally present in the United States. The driver, a citizen of Canada, was determined to be in violation of status. Both subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

February 17: Operators of a remote video surveillance system observed a subject walking southbound from the U.S./Canada border on the beach in Blaine. Agents responding to the area encountered the individual, a Canadian citizen illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

February 18: Operators of a remote video surveillance system observed five subjects walking south from the U.S./Canada border north of Lynden. Agents responded to the area and located the individuals in a nearby field. The group was composed of a citizen of Pakistan and four citizens of India who were all determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

February 21: Operators of a remote video surveillance system observed a person running southbound from the U.S./Canada border north of Lynden. Agents responded to the area and located the individual hiding in a raspberry field. The subject, a citizen of India, was determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

February 23: Operators of a remote video surveillance system observed an individual in close proximity to the U.S./Canada border in Blaine. Agents responded to the area and located the subject hiding in the bushes. The individual, a citizen of Canada, was determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.

February 24: Operators of a remote video surveillance system observed a subject walking southbound from the U.S./Canada border east of Blaine. Agents responding to the area encountered the individual, a Turkish citizen illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
