Blaine’s sixth annual scarecrow competition and tour is starting soon, and businesses and residents are encouraged to help dress up the town for fall by designing scarecrows for their storefronts or windows from October 13 until after Halloween. Business has begun in Blaine's new city hall
On Monday night, with a flutter of yellow ribbon and a proclamation by Mayor Harry Robinson, the city of Blaine christened the old Banner Bank building as its new city hall.
