Welcome wonderful April! We have been waiting for you to arrive. Our eyes are filling with sunshine and primroses are popping up along our pathways. While spring blossoms are stretching upward the folks at the Blaine Senior Center are also beginning a springtime renewal of body and spirit.
The Blaine center provides numerous activities for such a great awakening. The center offers opportunities to enjoy Oigong (Tai Chi), stretch exercises, TOPS and strength training classes.
New horizons are awakening. Now is your chance to learn some Chinese language. Be at the center at 10:40 a.m. Mondays to learn the basics of Mandarin. Another stretch is into the distant past. This is provided by our interesting Beginner’s Genealogy class. This class meets the first and third Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m.
