The March 6 lunch meeting of the Blaine Chamber of Commerce will feature an update on the Wings Over Water Northwest Birding Festival along with a special guest presentation by birder Joe Meche from the North Cascades Audubon Society. 

Meche will share a slideshow of photographs of birds from the Pacific Northwest. Many of the photos were taken along the shores of Drayton Harbor and Semiahmoo Bay as well as in the Birch Bay area.

Meche will also be one of the featured speakers at the upcoming birding festival on Saturday, March 16 in Blaine and at the “Birder’s Breakfast” at CJ’s Beach House on Sunday, March 17 in Birch Bay.
