August 3: Five subjects were observed crossing the U.S./Canada border and entering a vehicle north of Lynden. Sumas Border Patrol agents responded to the area and encountered a vehicle that matched the description of the one seen near the border area. The five subjects, citizens of India, were determined to be present in the U.S. illegally. The driver of the vehicle, a citizen of Canada, was determined to be in violation of status. The suspects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

August 14: Two subjects were observed crossing the U.S./Canada border and entering a vehicle north of Lynden. Nearby Sumas Border Patrol agents responded to the area, encountered the vehicle and performed a vehicle stop. Both subjects, citizens of India, admitted to being present in the U.S. illegally. The suspects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

August 18:âBlaine Border Patrol agents responded to a request for assistance from the Blaine Police Department regarding a subject they had detained in Blaine. The individual, a citizen of Mexico, admitted to overstaying a visitor visa and being present in the U.S. illegally. The suspect was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

August 18: Sumas Border Patrol agents responded to a request for assistance from the Everson Police Department regarding a subject they had detained near Sumas. The individual, a citizen of Mexico, admitted being present in the U.S. illegally. The suspect was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

August 19: While patrolling the border, Blaine Border Patrol agents witnessed an individual cross the U.S./Canada border in Blaine­­. The subject, a citizen of Malaysia, admitted being present in the U.S. illegally. The suspect was placed under arrest and processed for removal. 

August 23: Operators of a remote video surveillance system observed six subjects illegally cross the U.S./Canada border east of Sumas. Sumas Border Patrol agents in the area responded and apprehended the subjects. The suspects, citizens of India and present in the U.S. illegally, were placed under arrest and processed for removal.
