Dakota Creek Golf & Country Club is partnering with Make Way Partners for a 100-hole golf marathon fundraiser scheduled from July 9 to 12 at the golf course.

All proceeds will go to Feeding The Orphans, which will provide food and shelter for children in Darfur who have been orphaned.

Since 2003, more than 400,000 people in Darfur have been killed, leaving hundreds of orphans without a home.
Three levels of sponsorship are available, and you can sponsor yourself or another golfer.

Complimentary hot dogs and chili will be served daily, and to cap off the marathon, frog races, guided golf tours, a chili dinner and a Salmon Enhancement Bug Tour is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Thursday, July 12.

The prize for raising the most money will be a season pass to the golf club, located at 3258 Haynie Road, Custer. For more information, call 360/366-3131 or
