Blaine fourth grade students and teachers gathered to celebrate the 2012 winners of the Water Awareness poster contest last week, sponsored by the city of Blaine and Birch Bay Water and Sewer District (BBWSD). The theme of the poster contest was “Water is Life,” which emphasized the importance of saving enough water for all living things now and in the future.
