Got bunnies?

More than 100 unique varieties of chocolate rabbits are currently available at Birch Bay’s C Shop. The boutique offers chocolate treats for every budget and palate – starting as low as $3, and available in white, milk and dark chocolate. The treats are handmade fresh in the shop, always with a distinctive touch.

For those wanting more of an impact, large rabbits are also available.

“Annabelle” is the biggest piece in the shop, standing an impressive 24 inches and weighing five pounds. Local resident Jim Lang stopped in to pick up a “Roger” rabbit, purchased for his grandchildren living in Oak Harbor.

“He will be a great gift for all three children,” Lang said. “Roger” is 18 inches tall and weighs 3.5 pounds.

Aside from providing the local community with delicious treats and sweets, The C Shop has been supporting troops in Afghanistan and Iraq since the wars began. The shop will gladly mail out confections purchased for servicemen and women serving abroad.

The C Shop is open on April 6 and 7 from noon to 6 p.m. The shop will re-open on the weekends from Sunday, May 13, until Sunday, June 17, from noon to 6 p.m., Fridays through Sundays. After June 17, the shop will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The C Shop also updates its Facebook page daily with additional hours of operation, so make sure to check the page. If it is sunny outside, they may be open and selling treats!

The shop is located at 4825 Alderson Road in Birch Bay and can be reached at 360/371-2070.
