More than 200 exhibitors are gearing up for the 33rd annual Whatcom County Home and Garden Show this weekend.

The show runs from Friday through Sunday at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds in Lynden. This year’s theme for the show is “A local outlook on home and garden with a focus on building for the future.” The show is sponsored by the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County.

Vendors from across the state will present their latest offerings for home and garden. The show will also host a number of free seminars featuring local home and garden experts, including a Sunday questions-and-answer session with Ciscoe Morris, host of the Seattle-based gardening radio show “Gardening with Ciscoe.”

Tickets for the show are $7 for adults, $6 for those 55 and older, and is free for children. For more information and to purchase tickets in advance, visit www.whatcomhomeshow.com or call 360/671-4247.
