August 12: Agents responded to a request by the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office for translation assistance on a vehicle stop near Everson. Agents encountered four citizens of Mexico who admitted to being illegally present in the United States. All four subjects were processed for removal.

August 12: Sector dnforcement specialists monitoring a remote video surveillance system alerted agents to a suspicious vehicle along the international boundary near Lynden. Border Patrol agents responded to the area and arrested three citizens of Mexico who were illegally present in the United States. All three subjects were processed for removal.

August 13: Border Patrol agents arrested a citizen of Ghana at the Fairhaven bus terminal near Bellingham. The subject had entered the United States legally in 2009 as a tourist but failed to leave when his visa expired. Subject was processed for removal.

August 25: Sector enforcement specialists monitoring a remote video surveillance system alerted agents to a subject illegally entering the United States on the beach near Blaine. Border Patrol agents responded to the area and arrested a citizen of El Salvador who was illegally present in the United States. Subject was processed for removal.
