More than 35 artists and artisans from the Pacific Northwest will share their art at Birch Bay Square from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. August 20 as part of the first annual Art and Birch Bay Square event.

Most of the artists had previously participated in Dakota Creek Winery’s popular annual art show. However, the winery was not able to host the event this year, due to the demands of a growing business.

“Our artists have so much talent it would be a shame to see this important late summer date lost to them,” Phil Rose said. He and his wife, Patti, make natural stone and silver jewelry. The Roses, along with Candi Gerard, owner of Candi’s Jewelry and Gifts, arranged to move the show to Birch Bay Square.
