The Birch Bay Steering Committee and The Northern Light
will host a forum on July 28 in which members of the public can ask questions of three candidates for Whatcom County Executive.
The three candidates confirmed for the forum are former county planning director David Stalheim, former Lynden mayor Jack Louws and former county public works district 1 general manager Tom Anderson. The forum will start at 7 p.m., Thursday July 28, at Birch Bay Bible Community Church at 7039 Jackson Road. Admission is free.

or at 360/371-0171. Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce president John Gargett will moderate the event.
Earlier next week, all four candidates will face off at a debate sponsored by the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce. This event will run from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, at Lakeway Inn in Bellingham.
