Blaine women are auctioning off Worldmark vacation packages to help pay for the medical bills of a family member who was recently diagnosed with two brain tumors.

Deborah Earl and her sister, Annette Johnson, of Blaine, will be auctioning three vacation packages including a seven-night stay on the Oregon coast and a six-night stay in Anaheim, California, with a trip to Disneyland to help Earl’s daughter, Heather Earl, pay for expensive chemotherapy for two aggressive brain tumors.

Heather was born and raised in Blaine and graduated from Blaine high school. At the age of 21, she moved to Purcellville, Virginia.

After experiencing some numbness on her left side earlier this year, doctors found two tumors in the right parietal lobe of her brain. Her mother said because one of the tumors was growing rapidly, it could not be removed completely, and extensive chemotherapy is required.

Individuals can bid on the vacation packages by emailing or by calling 360/332-4257. Bids must be received by midnight on Wednesday, June 15.
