U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers last Wednesday arrested a Canadian man wanted in connection with two robberies and an aggravated assault as he tried to cross into the U.S. via the truck route crossing.

CBP agents arrested 24-year-old Abdijabar Khalif of Burnaby, B.C., on February 9 after a name check revealed the warrants for his arrest, according to a CBP press release. Khalif was considered to be armed and dangerous.

After CBP agents apprehended him, they handed Khalif over to the Canadian Border Services Agency for extradition to Vancouver, B.C.
