The Peace Arch Curling Centre in White Rock, B.C. is inviting its southern neighbors in the Blaine area to try a free curling lesson from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 20. Equipment will be provided.

“We know that many Americans are curious about curling from seeing it on television during the Winter Olympics,” said PAC manager Richard Brower. “We’re a lot closer to Blaine than the curling rink in Seattle, and we’d welcome more Americans taking part in our leagues and learn-to-curl programs.”

The center is also offering a learn-to-curl program that will run on four Sunday afternoons in March.

The Peace Arch Curling Centre is located in Centennial Park near 148th Street and 16th Avenue in White Rock. For more information, call 604/531-0244 or visit www.peacearchcc.com.
