The Northwest Washington Theatre Group has scheduled several performances of “The Pajama Game,” a musical based on the novel 7½ Cents by Richard Bissell. The story deals with labor troubles in a pajama factory, where worker demands for a seven-and-a-half-cent raise are going unheeded. In the midst of this ordeal, love blossoms between Babe, the grievance committee head, and Sid, the new factory superintendent.
Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. November 12, 13, 19 and 20 at the Blaine Performing Arts Center at 975 H Street. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children ages 10 and younger.
