Family still seeks missing dog

A dog that survived a fatal car accident on Birch Bay-Lynden Road last week is still missing.

The dog was traveling with David Parshall on Sunday, August 15 when the car Parshall was driving left the road way and struck a pole.

Parshall was found dead at the scene but a dog belonging to his 14-year-old daughter escaped and is thought to be unharmed.

Friends say the dog has been spotted by several residents near the intersection of Ham and Birch Bay-Lynden roads and is alive and well. Anyone with any information about the dog’s whereabouts is asked to call 933-1755.

The Parshall family dog “Lucy” looks similar to the Jack Russell Terrier in this photo and was last seen near the intersection of Ham and Birch Bay-Lynden roads. If spotted, call 933-1755.
